Breham Ambiga • A pincer move

“If the rally takes place my people and I will kill Ambiga and all those around her one by one including the idiot politicians who are in cahoots with this infidel. This is my warning. You watch out.” read the text on her cellphone two weeks ago but the former chair of the Bar Council is undeterred. 

The faction that sponsored the threat must have considered that if Ambiga, a mother, was not particularly enraged at the compromised electoral rolls in 2007, she must be postal at the gruesome murder of a life-giving woman in 2006. 

July is a wicked month for the faction. If Ambiga’s just concluded Bersih 2.0 was not a timing issue for the clique, then Breham’s tentative arrival in Kuala Lumpur late July to dredge up evidence in the Scorpene matter, may become one. 

Breham Ambiga is now a euphemism for a progressive pincer move that would finally bring justice to the memory of Shaariibuugiin Altantuyaa.
