The perpetrator is not quite the sociopath who possesses charm and spontaneity. It has none. It is not quite the sociopath that plans ahead its acts. It does not. The act upon the lass was borne of ignorance that the trail would result in a stripping thereof by a Machiavelli looming in the background; the one who commissioned the investigation not to be commissioned; the one who told the world about mademoiselle’s destruction; the one who abetted the nation its breathing space to impel agenda 709; the one who revealed the stones of Jacob while he slowly but surely breaks the legs of her demolisher; the one who regards a wound as an opportunity and two wounds as two opportunities; the one who will lead eventually the homeland like Niccolo said he will.

Words - Tommy Peters

Afterword: I had the pleasure this afternoon of meeting K. Arumugam, Chairman of Suaram, who with passion and pride sports the EO6 support-badge. Arumugam confirmed that Suaram's lawyer, William Bourdon, spoke in Bayan Lepas, Penang, on Thursday, July 21st 2011, as seen in the video (not July 23rd 2011 as indicated in the opening slide) and that Bourdon was arrested at KLIA airport Friday July 22nd 2011 before his scheduled speech at Suaram's fundraiser held later that day and that the waiting crowd outside the venue underscored the success of the event, despite the 'forced absence' of the determined Frenchman. It was noted that Bourdon was in Malaysia for about a week before his address in Bayan Lepas and that he was arrested only upon the Prime Minister's return to Malaysia after cutting short his overseas holiday "to be with the Malaysian people."

A snippet on K. Arumugam and 'March8' his banned book (Bernama, February 2010)

On Feb 23, 2007, engineer-turned-lawyer K. Arumugam filed an application for a judicial review, seeking to declare null and void the order made by the government on Nov 21, 2006, prohibiting the publication, sale and distribution of the (Tamil language) book (entitled 'March8' which explains events that occurred in Kg. Medan) because it was a threat to national security. In his application, Arumugam, 51, named the internal security minister, the deputy internal security minister at that time, and the Malaysian government as respondents.

Arumugam’s counsel argued that the decision to ban the book was irrational and unreasonable in terms of the right to freedom of expression. He also said the deputy minister failed to adduce evidence that the book's circulation could be prejudicial to internal security, as the book was in circulation with 3,000 copies before it was banned on November 21, 2006. Senior federal counsel submitted that the deputy minister had considered all views and information before prohibiting the book’s circulation.
