911 Revisited • Were Explosives Used?

Image
Nallini and the Free-fall formula:- I learnt from Nallini, a schoolgirl physics buff, that ‘Free-fall’ is a term applied to a falling object influenced by gravity of the earth and such gravity, in absence of upward resistance of any form, produces a downward acceleration of 32 feet per second and thereafter the object accelerates downwards by 32 feet every subsequent second until it hits ground. She simplified that an object free-falls at 32 feet per second in the 1st second, 64 feet per second in the 2nd second, 96 feet per second in the 3rd second, 118 feet per second in the 4th second, 150 feet per second in the 5th second and so forth.  The schoolgirl said the basic physics equation for Free-fall Speed or Time is [2 x Distance (Height) ÷ Gravity x Time²].  She helped me calculate the Free-fall Speed for 1355 feet, the average height (or Distance) of the fallen Towers. Distance she said is a variable, therefore, you may plug in any given figure, such a...

Alex Peters • Santana • Samba Pa Ti

Image
The focus of Alex’s passion is not the Mexican maestro but the Fender that belonged to one Cheng Ly-Moung, a 15-year old Cambodian pilot killed in action in the 70s. The Cambodian-teak guitar, buried throughout the war, was refurbished and re-fretted at the wish of the pilot’s brother to make it sing again.     The 2-bar prelude is a ‘crying’ tribute to the deceased fighter pilot, extricated from the bowels of his favorite possession. Soldier in the noncombatant is an out of control barbarian. As he seeks his share, Order is a condition before his Jack and while the antagonist is leading towards pole, Soldier has no tradition being one. Pushed to a corner he sets aside his manifesto and meets the boor on his and explodes with disproportionate force and incinerates the lout. 2006 (Bin Laden) • Bill Clinton • Chris Wallace

Image
In 2006, after a critical heart procedure, Bill Clinton (the easy Democrat) is invited to FoxNews (the lion’s den of the Conservative voice) where Chris Wallace questions the former President on his role in dealing with, then at-large, Osama Bin Laden.   FoxNews is the only major Conservative news network, while CNN, MSNBC, CNBC etc. compete for the Left, hence Democrats are used to 'kid-gloving' by the press.  Clinton is a lamb in the lion’s den and performs the way a lamb does in presence of a lion. He triumphs by tempering his position with honesty, clarity and his hypnotic trademark smile and in the process, he reduces the lion to a domestic cat.  Words – Tommy Peters Snippets :-  Clinton: Now if you want to criticize me for one thing, you can criticize me for this: after the Cole, I had battle plans drawn to go into Afghanistan, overthrow the Taliban and launch a full-scale attack search for bin Laden. But we needed basing rights i...

2011 • Anjem Choudary and students • The passing of Osama bin Laden

Image
George Gurdjieff (1866-1949) said,  "Nobody ever does anything deliberately in the interests of evil, for the sake of evil. Everybody acts in the interests of good, as he understands it. But everybody understands it differently. Consequently, men drown, slay, and kill one another in the interests of good."  Anjem Choudary and students expound, in a CNN interview in May 2011, the sentiment of the Armenian when asked about their thoughts on the passing of Osama bin Laden, whom they call their 'beloved Sheikh’. The calm disposition of the group is chilling as it belies the anger aimed at those who were assassinated and then celebrated the assassination of their teacher.  Conversely, in the way an apostate grows to hate the figurehead he once loved, one who qualifies in hating a figure such as the Sheikh would be one who truly loved him. Only he, the celebrant of his assassination, would qualify. The broader platform to love has a wider scope than the little fe...

The Illuminati - 4 Volumes

Preposterous as it may sound, The New World Order is supposedly the logical conclusion of world power coalesced within a group known as The Illuminati, said to be an ancient order dedicated to the doctrine of Lucifer. Applying subliminal propaganda, the coterie is said to be represented by bankers of Jewish origin who finagled through the centuries a monopoly that spans over political and cultural spheres.  Henry Makow in his book “Illuminati – The Cult That Hijacked The World” describes a conspiracy involving its principal arm, The Freemasons, a clandestine network that infiltrates governments, intelligence agencies and media for the sole purpose of re-engineering the human race to serve its master.  If the commentary has not tickled you, spare a moment and view the 4 Volumes that run under 8 hours.  Words – Tommy Peters Courtesy of EnigmaTV (used without permission)  (Advanced appreciation is rendered for materials used without express permission of copyr...

2010 • Islam for U.K • Anjem Choudary • Fareed Zakaria

Fareed begins with confidence of a matador. He posits a question and develops a discussion but Choudary, a trained solicitor, skillfully engages his host in another topic without presenting a lead and then turns around and scores a winner between Fareed’s legs - from behind - and when he is reminded of the confusion of his dribble, he posits a question to Fareed’s initial one making him forget the original discussion.  Indoctrination does constrain one’s ability to opine but the well-indoctrinated Choudary has the knack to turn babble into seemingly reasoned opinions while force-feeding his bizarre world-view to his audience in one swallow. If not for the constraints of the time-slot, the guest in Choudary would have pinned his wobbling host proper but, if not for the want of political correctness infused in the Left-leaning platform and the doctrinal bias constraining his host (the way Maajid Nawaz of Quilliam Foundation was not in the previous clip against Choudary) the host i...

2010 • Islam for U.K • Anjem Choudary • Maajid Nawaz

Anjem Choudary claims pride in receiving £25,000 a year in Dole Queue Benefits from Her Majesty’s government because he said “the money belongs to Allah and not to the British taxpayer."  In 2010 the Home Secretary banned Islam4UK, a group Choudary founded with a stated goal to “Islamize Britain and replace the Constitution with Shariah” the Islamic legal code.  Asked about the dole receipts, the 42-year old solicitor and a serving judge in one of Britain’s 85 Sharia courts said “I am not doing anything illegal. If we were living under the Shariah there would be free food, clothing and shelter for all. Whether you are on benefits or not that does not mean you cannot propagate your ideas. I have always remained within the ambit of the law. The money belongs to Allah and if it is given you can take it. You don't lie and you don't cheat. That is what the prophet said.”  English-born ex-terrorist Maajid Nawaz, who has been through a fair bit of hell including a stint in ...

2009 • Axis of Evil • Christopher Hitchens

Political scholar Christopher Hitchens is only writer to have visited Iran, Iraq and North Korea in a single assignment. He examines the three countries he ‘sampled’ and begins by introducing Kanan Makiya’s (pseudonym - Samir al-Khalil) “Republic of Fear: The Inside Story of Saddam’s Iraq” where the wordsmith in the Englishman revisits the chill in hall in which Saddam Hussein chaired his first cabinet meeting and places the ‘ sheer animal panic’ at the feet of his audience in a way even the writer was not able to accomplish.  He examines differences between the regimes linked infamously as the "Axis of Evil" and places much needed comic relief at the feet of his audience.  Words - Tommy Peters Courtesy of ForaTV and The Commonwealth Club (used without permission) (Advanced appreciation is rendered for materials used without express permission of copyright owners)

Meet Your Meat

What are chances PETA (People For The Ethical Treatment Of Animals) would explore the religious practice of Halal-Slaughter as they uncovered the machinations of Industrial and Factory Farming in a thought-provoking documentary - Meet Your Meat?  The documentary is a ‘hate-movie’ the industry does not want you to see. It makes one love the animals he traditionally consumes while pouring scorn upon the proponents of the industry. PETA is commended for this timely commentary. It is clear that lack of logistics and necessary equipment, coupled with a commerce driven environment, contributes to stress and pain animals endure to satisfy our needs. It should not be tolerated in this day and age.   Although Halal-Slaughter harks back to an age where modern methods were and are still lacking, it is safe to assume that PETA will refrain such an undertaking simply because the potential for religious conflagration is real, but the question still remains. Is Halal Slaughter less or mo...

2007 • Norman Finkelstein • The Holocaust Industry

Reviewed on a Canadian TV Talkshow - 2007 (used without permission). "In a controversial new study, Norman G. Finkelstein moves from interrogation of the place the Holocaust has come to occupy in American culture to a disturbing examination of recent Holocaust compensation agreements. It was not until the Arab-Israeli War of 1967, when Israel's evident strength brought it into line with US foreign policy, that memory of the Holocaust began to acquire the exceptional prominence it enjoys today. Leaders of America's Jewish community were delighted that Israel was now deemed a major strategic asset and, Finkelstein contends, exploited the Holocaust to enhance this newfound status. Their subsequent interpretations of the tragedy are often at variance with actual historical events and are employed to deflect any criticism of Israel and its supporters. Recalling Holocaust fraudsters such as Jerzy Kosinski and Binjamin Wilkomirski, as well as the demagogic constructions of wri...

2006 • Sholomo Ben-Ami • Norman Finkelstein • Israel-Palestine

Sholomo Ben-Ami, former Israeli Foreign Minister, debates Norman G. Finkelstein, a critic of Israel and the 'occupation' on the Camp David (2000) and Taba (2001) accords. While Finkelstein contends that Israel proposed only a myth of a generous offer, Ben-Ami insists that the generosity of his country, spurned by the Palestinians for its infamous intifada, was indeed genuine. In another development, the Guardian reported in May 2008 that Finkelstein was banned from Israel for 10 years for alleged links with Hezbollah and Al-Qaida.  DemocracyNow Television Broadcast - 2006 (used without permission) Words - Tommy Peters (Advanced appreciation is rendered for materials used without express permission of copyright owners)

2003 • Norman Finkelstein • Alan Dershowitz • Israel-Palestine

Alan M. Dershowitz is a Professor of Law at Harvard Law School. A proponent of Israel’s policies, he authored The Case For Israel, Chutzpah, The Vanishing American Jew, Why Terrorism Works, Shouting Fire and America Declares Independence. Norman G. Finkelstein is a Professor of Political Science at DePaul University in Chicago. A fierce critic of Israel’s ‘occupation’, he authored The Holocaust Industry, Beyond Chutzpah, The Rise and Fall of Palestine and A Nation on Trial. Snippets from the exchange where Finkelstein debunks Dershowitz' The Case For Israel:- FINKELSTEIN: I appreciate Alan Dershowitz’s seriousness at least in these remarks. I have no intention whatsoever of getting involved in an ad hominem debate with Mr. Dershowitz. I’m interested in the facts. I was asked to come in and discuss his new book. I went home, purchased one copy, in fact I purchased two copies. I read the book very carefully. I did what someone serious does with a book. I read the text, I went th...

William F. Buckley Jr. (1925-2008)

Image
Firing Line Television Broadcast - 1966 (used without permission)  It was not the sexual revolution of the 60s that riled him up but Playboy that made devout Catholic and Conservative William F Buckley Jr invite the 'emancipated' Hugh Hefner on Firing Line. Buckley, who passed away in 2008, founded the television program and National Review magazine while Hefner headed and still heads the Playboy empire. Hefner is no match for the acerbic and dry Buckley who had the era of Judeo-Christian conservatism behind him. Buckley posits a question on nudity and evolves the topic. The Playboy magnate is drawn into the gamut only for the Catholic to measure him up and snipe him with the ‘morality’ bullets of the era. In the 21st century, Buckley would have a harder time defending morality with Hefner, now known for his taste in surgically-enhanced blondes. Firing Line Television Broadcast - 1969 (used without permission) Acerbic and witty Conservative, William F....

The Wisdom Of Crowds

Image
Preamble:- Being a Mac user, I found a clue in The Wisdom of Crowds (2004) where James Surowiecki suggests that large groups tend to make 'acceptable' decisions and that the view of a single member is effectively drowned and influenced by a 'collective wisdom' towards a single viewpoint, steered by those who cry the loudest, rather than those who think the smartest hence, not unlike the herd-mentality of the buffalo, the smartest in the group who decides to embrace a Mac, for example, is effectively steered away from his ‘enlightened’ decision by the mass who cries the loudest.    The commentary involves the 'collective wisdom’ of buyers of Windows-based personal computers from the perspective of a Mac user.  The general science is that such buyers are a 'tolerating' bunch in that they willingly accept malware-ridden platforms. The Mac user would suggest they are not 'tolerating' anything, but doing quite well in an all-encompassing ‘rel...

Karl Denninger's 'Adobe Illustrator' explanation on Market Ticker Karl Denninger's 'Adobe Illustrator' explanation on YouTube Alex Jones's 'Adobe Illustrator' explanation on YouTube Frank Sinatra's 'Polka Dots and Moonbeams' is rendered by Alex Peters. A country dance was being held in a garden I felt a bump and heard an "Oh, beg your pardon" Suddenly I saw polka dots and moonbeams All around a pug-nosed dream The music started and was I the perplexed one I held my breath and said "May I have the next one?" In my frightened arms, polka dots and moonbeams Sparkled on a pug-nosed dream There were questions in the eyes of other dancers As we floated over the floor There were questions but my heart knew all the answers And perhaps a few things more Now in a cottage built of lilacs and laughter I know the meaning of the words "Ever after" And I'll always see polka dots and moonbeams ...

The Hidden Wars of Desert Storm

Courtesy of Free-Will Productions (used without permission). The documentary answers the questions, exploring documents never seen before and backed by interviews of prominent personalities as Desert Storm Commander, General Norman Schwarzkopf, former US Attorney General Ramsey Clark, former UN Iraq Program Director Denis Halliday, former UNSCOM team-leader Scott Ritter and many others.  A large selection of archival footage, moving images brought back from Iraq, an original soundtrack scored by acclaimed composer Fritz Heede and the narration by two-time British Academy Award-winner, John Hurt, all contribute to making "Hidden Wars of Desert Storm" a fast-paced, informative documentary while resolutely accessible to a general audience.  (Advanced appreciation is rendered for materials used without express permission of copyright owners - Tommy Peters - April 2nd 2011)

Who Killed The Electric Car

Courtesy of Sony Pictures (used without permission). Chris Payne explores the many factors that played into the ultimate failure of the electric car to catch on with consumers, even as gas prices began to skyrocket, in a thoughtful meditation on the increasingly important role that renewable energy plays in modern society.  Introduced as a means of providing an alternative to increasing oil consumption and reducing pollution in 1996, the electric car was an all-but-forgotten memory only a decade later - but why? Through interviews with consumer advocacy experts, automotive industry experts, and oil industry heavyweights, Payne paints a thought-provoking picture of a culture whose aversion to change and reliance on dwindling resources may be rooted in the financial concerns of a wealthy few, and may also be leading consumers down a troubling path. Divorce - Iranian Style

"What is the legal age to marry, I'm just 16" - Ziba, a divorce applicant.  "When a girl reaches puberty, when she is 9" - Justice Deldar. Courtesy of Channel 4 (used without permission). The 1998 production is a hilarious, yet tragically stirring fly-on-the-wall look at several weeks in an Iranian divorce [Sharia] court that provides a unique window into the intimate circumstances of the lives of Iranian women. Following Jamileh, whose husband beats her, 16 year Ziba, is trying to divorce her 38 year old husband and lastly Maryam, who is desperately fighting to gain custody of her daughters. This deadpan chronicle showcases the strength, ingenuity, and guile with which they confront biased laws, a Kafakaesque administrative system, and their husbands' and families' rage to gain divorces.  With the barest of commentary, director Kim Longinotto turns her cameras on the court for the story. Dispelling images of Iran as a country of war, hostages, and...

The Israel Lobby

Courtesy of VPRO Television (used without permission). “Broadly speaking, Jews who hate Israel fall into three categories:- a) the famous, of which Noam Chomsky is about the only one; b) the well-known, like Norman Finkelstein and Tony Judt, and c) others who are not known beyond their immediate circles but who do lurk in various crevices of the Internet. Altogether, it is not likely that there are more than a few thousand of these haters active worldwide, say fewer than 10,000 and probably no more than half that number. Considering that there are more than 13 million Jews in the world at the moment, the proportion of those who actively hate Israel, about 0.04 of one percent, might well be considered to be modest indeed.” -  Werner Cohn 2009. Two out of three categories turn up in 'The Israel Lobby' strident in the notion that they have the 'goods' on those who hold sway in the United States. The 2007 Dutch documentary by Marije Meerman's and William de Bruijn i...
